  • 3 overhead cranes manufactured by Granada Cranes and Handling

2x 10t Single Girder and 1x 20t Double Girder Electric Overhead Travelling Cranes

After completing several successful projects for this existing customer Granada were chosen to supply 3 new overhead cranes for a new medical electromagnet production and testing facility.

Two single girder cranes with a lifting capacity of 10 tonnes were supplied to move components around the site. These 10 tonne systems featured underslung SWF blackline hoists and utilised an energy chain cable system for hoist control and power.

A 20 tonne double girder system was required for moving the completed units. This 20 tonne system featured twin tandem hoisting using SWF Krantechnik hoist technology. This time top running crab travel systems were used and the crane featured an internally mounted energy chain system for hoist power and control.

All three cranes were supplied with bespoke pendant control that featured colour coded push buttons and legends along with unique keyswitch interlocks to ensure only trained authorised persons were able to use the cranes.
