Oil and Natural Gas Case Study

2x 7 tonne and 1x 2t Single Girder Cranes with 3x Free Standing Gantries

We previously manufactured and installed 8 new overhead cranes with four gantries for this customer who is one of the largest international oil and natural gas service companies in the world.
On this occasion the customer asked us to re-site some existing equipment. Upon investigation we found that some components would need to be replaced and others modified for it to be suitable for the new intended use. We therefore devised a proposal to completely strip, clean and re-fabricate the gantry steelwork to suit the new requirements, to supply new carriages and drive components for two cranes with a new bridge for one, new stools to raise the bridges and reutilise the existing hoists. We also supplied a complete re-furbished 2 tonne crane with new gantry.
The working process was very labour intensive but with attention to detail, care being taken and the customer’s corporate colour scheme we were able to achieve a quite impressive result.
